Church Youth Music Awards

Rachel participated in the youth music show in several ways. She helped sing two songs, and she wrote the music/melody to a third song in which she sang with this young man who wrote the words. Their song won best melody, best presentation, and popular vote. (out of 12 songs) Needless to say, we are so pleased and thank the Lord for the talent He has given Rachel and that she is using it for His glory!

Clubs takes a history trip!

We took our Bible Club to a memorial/museum of Latin America in São Paulo. I'm not sure if the kids liked the bus ride and picnic lunch or the museum best! We have been studying the book of Acts and are learning about different parts of the world and their need to know Jesus. We have had missionaries from Africa (Morrocco), Asia (South Korea), Australia, and now the Americas (all lumped together in the Brazilian history book).
