Road Trip

We are preparing for our annual "Ministry Week" with our seminary group and this year we will be traveling to Brazil's capital, Brasilia, which is about 15 hours drive from here. We will be a caravan of four cars with 17 people. We will work with a church and be involved in it's various ministeries. We leave this Sunday, Oct. 2, at about midnight. We count on your prayers!

"Day of Evangelism"

Today was our annual "Day of Evangelism" for the seminary and so we, along with our 12 students, gave 6 separate gospel presentations in 3 different schools. We shared through singing, testimonies, pantomime, skits and magic tricks. We also spent a few hours walking downtown taking a "religious survey", passing out tracts, and going store-to-store evangelizing. It was a great day - tune in for pictures to soon be posted!

Lightning strikes!

Lightning struck on Thurs. evening and several things were "lost", one of which was our computer modem. Now we know to unplug the computer, not just the phone line! But, we are up and running again - look forward to hearing from you.

"Evidence of Grace"

This is a picture of our church's orchestra, in which I (Susan) have the privilege to participate. (top center with sax) We just finished our fourth presentation of the cantata, "Evidence of Grace" and had the blessing of seeing several people give their lives to Christ. I thank the Lord for the opportunity to minister through music in this way!

15 years!

On Sept. 1, we celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary! We had a nice, quiet dinner at a wonderful restaurant and enjoyed reflecting on the years God has given us together. We thank the Lord for the many ways he has blessed us and for the privilege of serving Him together for the last 15 years and, if the Lord allows, for many years to come!
