Congrats!

We attended the AWANA awards night at our church on Sat. evening and Rachel received a certificate for finishing a book this year. We are thankful for the way God is working in her heart and how she is motivated to hide His Word in her heart!

A day at camp

We had our annual seminary picnic last week and spent a fun-filled, sunny day at camp.

Triathlon

The seminary held a triathlon and Rachel (swimming), Josh (biking), and a friend, Andy (running) participated. Our kids were one of only two kids' teams to participate and they won 4th place, just 3 min. behind an adult male team. They did a great job and had lots of fun! We were so proud of them!!!

New Neighbors?

The beauty of South America - two beautiful parrots on the tree outside our window! We enjoy their company almost every day. (double click on the picture to get a better look)

Seminary soccer champs!

Our girl students, along with Susan and Rachel, competed in the annual seminary soccer tournament and brought home the trophy! Rachel was our goalie and did a super job. Susan played on defense and was just as determined to defend Rachel FROM the ball as the ball FROM the goal. What a super time!

Long awaited "Evangelism Day" pictures

Soccer champs!

Joshua and Daniel (and friends) put together a soccer team to play at our camp's annual "Kid's Day" soccer tourney. This year, we were the champions!

This weekend, our church, First Baptist of Atibaia, celebrated it's 25th anniversary! Rachel and Susan had the privilege of participating in the musical festivities of the programs on Saturday and Sunday. We thank the Lord for our church here in Brazil!

Cucumbers!

Yes. We are excited to say that our garden is coming up cucumbers! It has been a fun adventure into the patch each day, to find new treasures of big, little, skinny, and fat cucumbers.
