Annual staff retreat

This year, our area staff retreat was about 2 hrs away in Serra Negra. We enjoyed a time in the Word with "Uncle" Al Monroe (ex-prof. from Cedarville), acompanied by his wife, Beverly. It was also a time of good food, sports, shopping, and relaxation! Week at camp

Ken had the opportunity to be the speaker for Teens Week at our camp. Our family enjoyed the week of ministry and fun! The key verse was 2 Tim. 1:6, with the idea of keep the flame burning in your heart, with many interesting facts given about the Olympic torch as well. Happy Birthday, Daniel!

Daniel invited his friends over for an evening of soccer, roasting hotdogs over the bonfire, and a hay ride to celebrate his 10th birthday! As a family, he chose to eat at Pizza Hut for his special lunch out. You see we had a green visitor at our table!

Becky plays the prelude

Becky played "Jesus Loves Me" in church Sunday morning. She did a super job and enjoyed the opportunity! She is doing very well on the piano.

4th of July

We spent the holiday with friends! We ate fajitas, had a bonfire, and let off a few fireworks! How we thank the Lord for the freedoms we have! (pics: Rachel and Daniel with sparklers, all the kids)

Shopping!

A trip to Wal-Mart proved to be quite challenging as it's never easy finding clothes for a teenage girl! Something pretty, yet decent, that is! I think I was the only serious one in the bunch.
