What is it???

If anyone knows what this bug is, please let us know! We found this funny looking guy on our back porch. One day after Daniel got several bites in one area on his foot, we discovered some bushes in our back yard are full of these. It's almost like its back raises up with quills when it is afraid. Very strange!

Happy Valentine's Day

These are our four special valentines!!! We enjoyed a day of heart-shaped signs, a heart-shaped cake, and lots of LOVE!

Happy Birthday, Mommy!

Yes, it's that time of year again - Susan turns ?? - she's still young and going strong! We had a nice steak cook-out with our staff, where they signed a big card (left), sang "Happy Birthday" in several languages, and provided a great time of fellowship.

Clubs' staff retreat 2008

We kicked off our year with a weekend retreat at our director's house. We spent time in prayer, time planning, dreaming, and working for the upcoming events, projects, and ministries to come in 2008. We praise God for this wonderful group of Brazilians who have dedicated their lives to furthering the Gospel in Brazil through training leaders to reach children and youth!

Carnival in Tatui

We spent 5 days in Tatui (3 hrs. away) during Carnival, ministering at a Clubs' youth retreat. Ken spoke from 2 Peter 3, in accordance with the topic their leaders chose - "Get with it! Jesus is returning!" (loosely translated). It was a great time of study, fellowship, crazy games, singing, laughing, eating, and much more! We praise God for the 3 teens who accepted Christ and the many who made decisions of dedication.
