Word of Life - Brazil celebrates 50 years!

We thank the Lord for the 50 years God has chosen to use Word of Life to reach people for Christ in Brazil! Harold Reimer and Harry Bolback, and well as many others, were present for a time of special celebration, as we remembered how God brought each new ministry about in His time.

Youth Talent Night

Our church's youth group had a talent night, where the teens were encouraged to write their own music. One of Rachel's friends wrote a song and asked Rachel (and two others) to sing it with her. They won first place of the seven songs that night!

"Day of the Church"

Our seminary has an annual friendly competition between local churches (25 total) where they come and test their strength, spiritual and physical, through various activities.

We enjoyed an evening of fun and fellowship with some of our Clubs staff members. As you can see, we had some good laughs!

Weekend ministry

Our family spent the weekend with ex-students from the seminary. They are now pastoring a small church about 2 hrs. away. Ken gave a few sessions of discipleship training and we had a great time! This young pastor and his wife are trying to encourage biblical discipleship/counseling in their area and we are so pleased to be a part of that!

Rachel's VBS work

Just a couple of pictures from when Rachel went to help another church with VBS in August.

God's answer to prayer.....

This is our "new" used car that God provided for our family. It is a 2006, has about 27,000km, and most important - it has six seats! We thank the Lord for this provision for our family and thank those who prayed and gave to help make this possible!

17th Anniversary

We were married Sept. 1, 1990 and thank the Lord for the years of marriage, family, and ministry we've had together!
