Bible Clubs founder
George and Joan Theis (back row, left) are the Word of Life missionaries who started Bible Clubs many years ago. They were with our staff yesterday evening for a time of fellowship. It was a blessing to hear their stories of how the Bible Clubs ministry came about and how God continues to use them in many ways for His service. We thank them for their faithfulness and example of perseverence in the ministry!

Head, shoulders, KNEES, and toes....
KNEES - please pray for Ken's knee! Four years ago, during our last furlough, Ken had surgery on one knee. Now, four years later, it seems the other knee will need the same surgery! The pain has steadily gotten worse over the last 4-5 months and lately, he is limping quite a bit and says it really hurts. We would pray God would strengthen and heal the knee, but if not that Ken might get some relief, as well as be able to make it until we get to the States for surgery.

Praises!!!
As the hymn goes...."Praise God from Whom ALL blessings flow!"
We have so much to be thankful for. Aside from our salvation and the grace God gives every day of our lives, He has also been answering prayers - ours and yours!
1 We are thankful that our children will be able to attend a christian school while we are on furlough. We've had some huge answers to prayer in regards to this decision and we thank the Lord for His provision!
2. We also are thanking the Lord for the several families who have graciously and generously given financial gifts toward Ken's masters classes. We are close to reaching the total goal and continue to wait upon the Lord!
Thank you, Lord! And, thank you for your prayers and gifts!

Praises and continued prayer requests:
We thank the Lord for a used laptop that was given to us, after ours was hit by lightning. We did find someone to bring it down to us. We also thank the Lord for possible renters for our home.
We continue to pray for:
1. Ken traveling to Clubs churches on weekends
2. Discipline as we work toward finishing homeschool by end of May
3. Renters for our home
4. Sale of our car before leaving on furlough
5. Funds for Ken's biblical counseling classes (July)
6. Decisions about our kids schooling in the US
7. Adaptation for year on furlough
